Timeline

3 months — post-relaunch, 2026

01 — The challenge

A distinctive space represented by an undistinguished website.

419 Lafayette is a loft and rooftop event space in NoHo, Manhattan, competing for corporate events, launches and private bookings in the most contested venue market in the United States.

The previous site underrepresented the space and, just as importantly, could not tell anyone what was working: enquiries arrived without any reliable measurement behind them. The rebuild had to fix presentation and instrumentation together.

“People book a venue with their eyes. The old site made a beautiful space look ordinary, and I had no idea how many enquiries we were losing because of it.”

Illustrative quote — written by Web Tonic to put the results above in an owner’s words. It is not a statement provided by the client.

Venue marketing is unusual in that the website is not a brochure for the product, it substantially is the product experience until someone walks in the door.

02 — Our approach

Show the space properly, then measure the enquiry.

The rebuild put the space itself at the centre — large, fast-loading photography of the loft and rooftop, clear capacity and configuration information, and an enquiry path that a corporate planner can complete in under a minute.

Measurement was built in from launch rather than bolted on: analytics and conversion tracking configured before go-live, so the first three months of data are trustworthy and the 148 conversions on this page are counted, not estimated.

Organic foundations were laid at the same time — structure, page titles, local relevance for the neighbourhood and event-type searches planners actually use — so the site starts compounding rather than depending on referral traffic alone.

03 — What we did

Present the space, instrument the site, lay organic foundations.

Three months of clean data from a site that previously produced none.

Space-first design

The website is the product until they visit

Large, fast photography of the loft and rooftop, clear capacity and configuration detail, and an enquiry path a corporate planner can finish in under a minute.

Organic foundations

Built to compound, not just to launch

Structure, titles and local relevance for the neighbourhood and event-type searches planners actually use, so the site starts earning traffic instead of relying on referrals.

Honest baseline

No growth percentage, because there is no baseline

The previous site had no comparable tracking. Rather than manufacture a comparison, this page reports absolute post-launch performance.

04 — The results

First three months: 4,239 sessions and 148 tracked enquiries.

Period covered: first three months following the site relaunch, through Jul 31, 2026. No prior-year comparison exists — reliable measurement did not exist before the rebuild.

Source: GA4 for the client's domain, retrieved via AgencyAnalytics. Absolute post-launch figures only; the previous site had no comparable tracking, so no growth percentage is claimed.
