How a first-aid training provider reached 35,486 organic clicks
Almost nobody wants a first-aid course. They want the certificate their employer, their licence, or their daycare regulator demands by a specific date.

01 — The challenge
Certification demand that is dated, regulated, and geographically fussy.
Impact Santé+ delivers first-aid and CPR training across Quebec and works as a Red Cross partner. Its customers are employers meeting an obligation and individuals renewing a card that is about to expire.
That makes the search intent unusually precise. People look for a named certification, in a named city, on a date that works — and they need to know it is the recognised version, not a lookalike. A generic training page answers none of those three questions.
“Nobody browses for a CPR course. Their card expires in three weeks, their boss needs proof, and they need a class near them. If my page cannot say which certification, where and when, they book with somebody else.”
So the site was built to answer certification, place and date on the page itself.
02 — Our approach
Certification-led pages, city coverage, and visible recognition.
Pages were organised by the certification a buyer is required to hold, because that is the literal search, then extended by city so the "near me" version of the query has somewhere to land.
Recognition was made explicit on the page. When a certificate has to satisfy an employer or a regulator, ambiguity about which standard is being taught costs the booking.
Impressions grew 91% against clicks at 36%. The footprint widened faster than the click-through, so the site now appears for far more course queries than it did — and converting more of those appearances is the compounding opportunity from here.
03 — What we did
Certification architecture, city coverage, explicit recognition.
Answering which certification, where, and when.
Certification architecture
Built pages around the credential, not the course
Buyers search the certification they are required to hold. The structure was rebuilt so each one has a page that names it plainly.
City coverage
Gave "near me" somewhere to land
Course locations across Quebec were built out, which is a large part of the growth to 1.87 million impressions.
Explicit recognition
Removed doubt about which standard
When a certificate has to satisfy an employer or regulator, being vague about the standard loses the booking.
Certification-led structure
Organised by the standard buyers must hold
Pages follow the certification a buyer is required to obtain, because that is the literal search, then extend by city so the "near me" version has somewhere to land.
