Booksy · Booking software for beauty and wellness businesses · Creator whitelisting · 2026
How Booksy grew business registrations 1,700% in three months
Booksy has to recruit two audiences at once: the businesses that take bookings and the customers who make them. This is the harder side.

01 — The challenge
Recruiting salon and barber businesses, not just their customers.
Booksy needs beauty and wellness professionals to adopt its booking software — a decision made by a business owner, often mid-shift, usually on a phone.
Corporate SaaS creative does not reach that person. Other professionals in their field do.
“The person I need to convince is cutting hair right now. She will listen to another stylist showing her a booking screen, and to nobody else.”
So the acquisition strategy was built creator-first across three platforms.
02 — Our approach
Creator-first acquisition across Google, Meta and TikTok.
Creators from inside the beauty and wellness trade demonstrated the product to peers, with whitelisting running that content as paid across Google, Meta and TikTok.
Media spend across social grew 7×, app installs jumped 637% month over month, business registrations rose more than 1,700% in three months, and cost per business registration fell 92% — efficiency improving while volume scaled, which is the rare combination.
