How an HVAC installer built 6,168 organic clicks and doubled directions
Heating, cooling, doors and windows are all the same purchase in the homeowner's mind: the house is uncomfortable and expensive to run. The search terms, though, are nothing alike.

01 — The challenge
Four product lines, one installer, and a seasonal demand curve.
Confort Prestige has installed heating, ventilation, air conditioning, doors and windows across Quebec homes since 2008, working out of Terrebonne. Energy efficiency is the through-line of the offer.
Those product lines peak at different times of year and attract completely different searches. A heat-pump query in February and a window replacement query in June have nothing in common except the house — and competing for all of them at once, against both specialists and large installers, spreads a site thin.
“In January everybody wants a heat pump. By June nobody is thinking about heating at all, they are thinking about their windows. I need to be the answer in both months, not just the one where I happen to rank.”
So each line was given its own footing rather than a shared services page.
02 — Our approach
Line-by-line coverage, subsidy content, and a working map presence.
Each product line was built out on its own terms — heat pumps, air conditioning, doors, windows — so seasonal peaks reinforce a specific set of pages instead of diluting one generic services page.
Energy-efficiency and subsidy content was added because it is how Quebec homeowners actually begin this research, often months before requesting a quote.
Local presence was worked alongside the site: business-profile direction requests more than doubled from 405 to 853 and calls rose from 643 to 760.
03 — What we did
Per-line architecture, subsidy content, local presence.
Four demand curves, four sets of pages.
Per-line architecture
Stopped four offers competing as one page
Heat pumps, air conditioning, doors and windows each got their own footing, so a seasonal peak lands on pages built for it.
Subsidy and efficiency content
Met the homeowner at the research stage
Energy-efficiency and grant research starts months before a quote request. That is where 938,181 impressions came from.
Local presence
Direction requests from 405 to 853
Profile calls also rose from 643 to 760 across twelve months, alongside the organic growth on the site itself.
Season-proof structure
Four product lines, built separately
Heat pumps, air conditioning, doors and windows each hold their own pages, so every seasonal peak reinforces a specific set rather than diluting one generic services page.
04 — The results
Nine months: 6,168 organic clicks, direction requests more than doubled.
