HUBZ404 · Corporate event agency · SEO — organic search & local · 2026
How HUBZ404 built an organic channel from literally nothing
Ninety impressions and six clicks in a year is not a weak channel, it is no channel. Twelve months later the site was being shown 86,773 times.

01 — The challenge
An agency that wins on reputation and had no search footprint.
HUBZ404 produces corporate events across Quebec — event organisation, hosts and MCs, bands and artists, entertainment, concept and décor, multimedia and full project management. Work like this arrives through referral and repeat business, which is exactly why the search channel had never been built.
The site was starting from ninety impressions a year. At that level there is nothing to optimise: no rankings to improve, no click-through rate worth testing, no authority to leverage. Meanwhile the searches exist and are valuable — an event planner looking for a corporate event agency in a named region, or for one specific service such as an MC or a live band. The only available move is to build eligibility from zero, and to accept that the first months produce impressions rather than briefs.
“All of our work came from people who already knew us. We were a real agency with real productions and we simply did not exist on Google. What changed first was not enquiries, it was being seen at all — and once that started, the enquiries followed.”
Illustrative quote — written by Web Tonic to put the results above in an owner’s words. It is not a statement provided by the client.
New sites earn impressions before they earn clicks. Reading the first phase as failure is how most launch SEO gets abandoned a month before it works.
02 — Our approach
Earn eligibility first, then compete service by service and region by region.
The build started with the searches that describe an event brief — service type, event type, region — and a page for each one that could plausibly be the best answer, rather than a single site trying to rank for everything.
Regional pages did the heavy lifting: an agency competing across Laval, the Rive-Nord and greater Montreal needs a page that genuinely speaks to each market instead of one contact page listing them.
Local came next. The business profile was completed properly — categories, services, hours, photos and consistent name, address and phone data — which is why direction requests appear in the results at all.
Technically the site was made trivially crawlable and unambiguous: one page per intent, internal links pointing at the page meant to win, schema describing the organisation and its services. Then titles and descriptions were written for the click, converting the new impressions into 446 visits instead of leaving them as visibility nobody acted on.
03 — What we did
Pages for real briefs, regional depth, a complete local profile, clickable titles.
In a launch the sequence is not optional: eligibility, then relevance, then click-through.
Intent-level pages
One page per service and event type
MC, live music, décor, multimedia and full production each got a page that could plausibly be the best answer, rather than one services page trying to serve every query.

Regional depth
Wrote for each market instead of listing them
Laval, the Rive-Nord and greater Montreal each got a page that speaks to that market, which is where a service-area agency actually competes.

Titles and descriptions written for the planner rather than the keyword, which is what converted 86,773 impressions into 446 clicks from a zero base.
