How a Laurentians roofer doubled its search footprint
Saint-Sauveur is a resort valley, which means a large share of the roofs belong to people who are somewhere else most of the year.

01 — The challenge
A mountain-valley market with second homes and brutal winters.
Toiture Couvreur Saint-Sauveur roofs houses in Saint-Sauveur and across Montreal's Rive-Nord, in a valley where snow load and ice are the defining engineering problem.
The market has an unusual shape. Many properties are second homes, so the owner researches remotely, often after a tenant or neighbour reports a leak, and cannot inspect anything themselves. Trust has to be established entirely through the site.
“Half my calls come from someone in Montreal who has been told there is water coming in at a chalet two hours away. They cannot look at it. They have to decide from their phone whether to trust me.”
So the site had to carry the credibility that a site visit normally does.
02 — Our approach
Winter-specific expertise, valley geography, and a visible local presence.
Content was built around the failures this valley actually produces — snow load, ice dams, and the roofing systems that survive them — including metal roofing, which is a genuine differentiator in a heavy-snow region.
Geographic coverage was extended across the valley and the Rive-Nord so the site appears for the specific municipality a second-home owner names. Impressions doubled to 446,705 as a result.
Local presence supported it: profile direction requests grew from 512 to 612 and calls from 57 to 62. Clicks rose 47% to 484 — slower than impressions, and the gap is stated rather than smoothed.
