Stone Decorative
By the bag or by the ton
Stone Decorative supplies untreated, hand-polished natural stone, reflective crushed glass, gabions, fire pits, fountains and garden furniture across Canada and the United States.

01 — The challenge
A product sold by coverage, not by unit.
Nobody buys three stones. They buy enough stone to cover a flower bed two inches deep, in a size that will not sink into the soil, in a finish that will not look wet-shiny in the sun. Every one of those decisions is a filter, a conversion, or a returned pallet.
On top of that the store operates across a border in two currencies and two languages, and sells the same catalogue to a homeowner buying four bags and a landscaper buying by the ton.
The hard part of selling stone online is not the photograph. It is telling someone how many bags their patio needs.

02 — Our approach
Answer the coverage question, then let the trade buyer self-serve.
Collection pages are faceted by size, colour, finish and package, and the buying questions are answered on the page itself: how many bags per square foot at two inches deep, which size works for beds versus walkways, whether polished stone stays shiny outdoors, how to prep the ground, and whether the stone survives a Canadian winter. Sample bags are offered outright, because a stone colour decision made on a screen is a decision that gets returned.
The trade side is separated out into a bulk buyers page with published discount tiers, quotation turnaround, palletised protection, GPS-tracked delivery and credit accounts — so a landscaper never has to negotiate through a retail cart.
Currency and language switching, two warehouse addresses and a pickup option are surfaced in the header rather than buried in shipping policy, since a cross-border buyer needs to know which side of the line their stone ships from before they add anything.

Working with Web Tonic has been a fantastic experience from start to finish. Their team took the time to understand our business goals and delivered exactly what they promised. Communication was excellent, and we've already seen a noticeable improvement in our online visibility. Highly recommended!
