01 — The challenge

In an unregulated category, the honest brand looks like every other brand.

Australian pet food labelling leaves a lot of room, so premium and near-filler sit side by side at similar prices with similar photography. Petzyo's advantages — locally sourced ingredients, nutritionist-formulated recipes, B Corp certification, a measured carbon footprint, trees planted per order — are all real and all invisible in a product grid.

On top of that the range splits into three feeding models: dry kibble, raw BARF, and treats, plus a build-your-own box. Each needs a different explanation before the first order.

The brand was not losing on quality. It was losing on the fact that nobody could see the quality from a thumbnail.

02 — Our approach

Put the evidence on the page, including the competitor comparison.

We built the store so each proof point has a home. The ingredients page breaks the range down by flavour and states what is in it. The impact page carries the sustainability record with real numbers — trees planted, carbon offset, share of Australian ingredients per recipe, recyclable packaging. The reviews page exposes the full verified review base rather than a hand-picked carousel.

The most direct piece is the comparison page: a full table of Petzyo against other Australian dry foods on price per kilo, energy density, grain-free status, filler content, omega ratio, certification, protein and fat. A brand only publishes that table if it wins on it, and publishing it does the persuading no product copy can.

Merchandising splits dry, raw and treats into their own collections with the feeding-model explanation and FAQ attached, and the BARF box builder plus the custom serving guide turn a first order into a recurring one.

03 — The results

A store that argues on nutrition, sourcing and footprint — and lets shoppers check.
