Remote AE
Expertise, not headcount
Remote AE places vetted virtual architects, engineers and construction professionals with AEC firms in the US, Canada and Australia — every assistant with a minimum of five years of industry experience, from $499 a week.

01 — The challenge
"Virtual assistant" is the wrong phrase for the person filing a DOB permit.
The category term works against the business. A principal at an architecture firm hears virtual assistant and pictures inbox triage, not a drafter producing a 340-sheet multifamily CD set or a researcher checking a zoning ordinance before a site goes under contract.
Their real objection is competence and risk: does this person know the 2022 NYC Construction Codes, the National Building Code of Canada, what a 100% CD set has to carry — and what happens if the placement does not work out.

02 — Our approach
Answer the competence question in public, one jurisdiction at a time.
The homepage does the commercial job: the three assistant tracks, the guarantees (minimum five years' experience, full-time dedicated service, no long-term commitment, replacement inside the first year), named client testimonials, and a booking calendar embedded directly in the hero so the next step is one click, not a form.
Underneath it sits the part that actually converts this audience — a library of genuinely technical service pages. NYC DOB compliance, expedited permitting, zoning compliance review, medical office building design, multifamily construction documents, Canada building code support. Each one is written at the level of a practitioner, with process steps, comparison tables and an explicit section on what a remote team must not do, because credibility here comes from knowing the limits.
Every page carries the same sticky conversion unit — "fill staffing gaps without slowing projects", vetted AEC-only support, replacement guarantee, no consultation fee — plus a case-study index of real placements by city and firm type.

Working with Web Tonic has been a fantastic experience from start to finish. Their team took the time to understand our business goals and delivered exactly what they promised. Communication was excellent, and we've already seen a noticeable improvement in our online visibility. Highly recommended!
