How we vet every listicle
Every agency featured on Web Tonic passes our 84-point editorial review before a single listicle goes live. This is how we vet each pick:
Verified client outcomes: We require real case studies with measurable KPIs — revenue, ROAS, CPA, retention — tied to the exact category being ranked. No cherry-picked wins, no unverifiable numbers.
Independent reputation: We cross-check Clutch, Google, G2, and Trustpilot ratings, and screen for review-bombing or suspicious patterns. Only operators with a consistent, verifiable track record make the cut.
Beyond that, every listing goes through a quarterly re-audit. We check 84 criteria across 6 pillars to make sure it still holds up — here are some of the checks we run:
A social media management agency for water damage restoration handles the channel homeowners check before calling: before-and-after job posts, technician and claims explainers, review generation and community replies, plus organic content cut down for paid distribution. Home services accounts average 0.43 percent engagement on Instagram and 0.21 percent on Facebook, so the work is trust and review volume rather than viral reach.

We weighted named restoration or damage clients and published social results over follower counts. Of the 20 external agencies, 12 name a client and two publish a rate.
Which social media agency suits a water damage restoration company?
Restoration Growth Partners, Remediation and Restoration Marketing and Daniel Brian Advertising work directly in restoration. Amici Creative, Monarch Social Media, Digital Marketing Service Pro, UK Web Marketing and Greenbaum Stiers hold named damage or waterproofing clients, and PrimeX Media publishes a monthly rate.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does restoration social media management cost?
Only two of the 20 external agencies publish a rate: PrimeX Media from 3,000 dollars a month and UK Web Marketing from 49 pounds a month, which are different products rather than competing prices. Independent benchmarking puts boutique social retainers at 3,000 to 8,000 dollars a month. The other 18 quote per scope, so ask what a quote covers in posts, filming days, paid budget management and review response time.
Does organic social actually generate restoration jobs?
Indirectly, through trust at the moment of choice. About 61 percent of homeowners trust online reviews as much as personal referrals, 88 percent read at least three reviews before choosing a contractor, and 94 percent gather multiple quotes. Published contractor data also shows accounts posting three or four times weekly report 2.3 times more inbound leads than once-weekly posting, which is cadence rather than creative genius.
How many of these agencies have restoration evidence?
All 20 evidence restoration or an adjacent home-services trade, and 12 name the client. Restoration Growth Partners names five restoration operators including 1-800 Water Damage of Utah County, Daniel Brian Advertising names Paul Davis Restoration, Amici Creative names Ridge Restoration, UK Web Marketing names Hydra Restore, and Greenbaum Stiers names a waterproofing company. Eight anonymise their case studies by category.
Should the agency film on active loss sites?
It is the highest-value footage and the hardest to get right. Filming inside a customer's flooded property needs written consent, containment discipline and personal protective equipment, and a crew that slows a mitigation job costs more than the post earns. Ask who coordinates with the crew chief, how homeowner consent is captured, whether the agency shoots or only edits, and who owns the raw files afterwards.
What should we ask before signing?
Ask for one named restoration client and the social numbers attached to that account, then ask who writes replies to a complaint at 9pm. Also settle who owns the profiles and ad account, how reviews are requested and answered, whether posts are scheduled or filmed, and whether reporting ties activity to booked mitigation jobs rather than reach.
Choosing a Restoration Social Partner
Buy proof, not posting volume. With 88 percent of homeowners reading at least three reviews and 94 percent collecting several quotes, before-and-after job documentation and review velocity decide more jobs than a branded graphic calendar. Ask who captures job-site footage each week and how review requests are triggered after a completed mitigation.
Set expectations at real engagement rates. Home services averages 0.43 percent on Instagram and 0.21 percent on Facebook. Any pitch promising viral growth on an emergency trade is selling something other than restoration marketing. Published contractor data does support cadence, with three or four posts a week reported alongside 2.3 times more inbound leads.
Weight named clients over dashboards. Twelve of these 20 agencies name a client and only two publish a rate, so ask for the restoration account and its numbers before comparing retainers. Eight anonymise their case studies entirely, which makes a like-for-like comparison impossible.
Keep content, ads and site on one team. Organic proof works when paid social, the site and job-level reporting connect. Read the latest analysis or start here.
