How we vet every listicle
Every agency featured on Web Tonic passes our 84-point editorial review before a single listicle goes live. This is how we vet each pick:
Verified client outcomes: We require real case studies with measurable KPIs — revenue, ROAS, CPA, retention — tied to the exact category being ranked. No cherry-picked wins, no unverifiable numbers.
Independent reputation: We cross-check Clutch, Google, G2, and Trustpilot ratings, and screen for review-bombing or suspicious patterns. Only operators with a consistent, verifiable track record make the cut.
Beyond that, every listing goes through a quarterly re-audit. We check 84 criteria across 6 pillars to make sure it still holds up — here are some of the checks we run:
A Vancouver podcast production company handles everything around the microphone: format and episode planning, studio or on-location recording, multi-camera video capture, editing, mixing and mastering, then artwork, show notes, hosting and distribution setup, plus the vertical clips that carry a show onto social feeds.

We checked these 19 companies on evidenced podcast work, clients named on their own websites, rates published there, and a verified address. Sixteen publish a Vancouver address, and three are openly in Richmond or Langley. Five print a rate and five name a client.
Which Vancouver podcast production company should a business shortlist?
Shortlist by product. Upper Land Studio, Yaletown Podcast, Speak Easy Podcast Studio, Friends Quarters and Rami Films sell bookable rooms and session time. JAR Podcast Solutions, Podium Podcast Co, Everything Podcasts, Podcast Nation and Kelly and Kelly own finished, published shows.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does podcast production cost in Vancouver?
Five of these nineteen companies publish a figure, in Canadian dollars, and they sell different things. Upper Land Studio opens at 99 dollars an hour for a three-camera room in Richmond. Yaletown Podcast runs 99 to 199 dollars an hour depending on setup. Rami Films rents its studio at 120 to 150 dollars an hour. Speak Easy Podcast Studio charges 300 dollars an hour for a full production session. Friends Quarters sells a 111 dollar monthly membership plus a room booking fee. The other fourteen quote after a call.
How many of these companies are really in Vancouver?
Sixteen of the nineteen publish an address inside the city, on West 6th Avenue, Beatty Street, Grant Street, Victoria Drive, Cambie Street in Yaletown and West Hastings Street in Gastown among others. Three are openly outside it and say so: Upper Land Studio in Richmond near the airport, and Couch Cushion Media and Speak Easy Podcast Studio in Langley. RedLeaf Strategy keeps a second office in Dubai and Potential Pictures a second base in Chilliwack.
Which Vancouver firms name the clients behind the work?
Five of the nineteen. JAR Podcast Solutions names Vancity, BCIT and American Express. Podium Podcast Co names Think Fast Talk Smart, Stanford Legal, Stanford University and Gallaudet University. Kelly and Kelly names CBC, Audible, Warner Music and Sony. Podcast Nation names The Telepathy Tapes, Dear Shandy and The Mom Room. Couch Cushion Media names Total Event Company. Two further credits collected in research could not be read anywhere on the firm's own website and were removed rather than repeated here.
Should I book a room, a producer or an agency here?
They are separate purchases. Upper Land Studio, Yaletown Podcast, Speak Easy Podcast Studio, Friends Quarters and Rami Films sell treated rooms, cameras and engineering hours. JAR Podcast Solutions, Podium Podcast Co, Podfather Creative, Everything Podcasts, Podcast Nation, Jabber Productions and Oh Boy Productions own a finished, published show. Kelly and Kelly, Eyes Multimedia, Perspective Films, Potential Pictures, Tyz Post Audio and RedLeaf Strategy run podcasting inside wider film, audio post or communications practices.
Does a Vancouver business podcast need cameras?
For most of them, yes, and the local rate cards assume it. Edison Research counts 167 million monthly podcast consumers in the United States, 58 percent of everyone aged 12 and over, and IAB and PwC recorded 2.862 billion dollars of United States podcast ad revenue in 2025. Every Vancouver room that publishes a price on this page sells a multi-camera or video-first session rather than an audio booth, so budget for a set, a lighting call and a clip package.
Choosing a Podcast Partner in Vancouver
Vancouver is unusually local for its size. Sixteen of these nineteen companies publish an address inside the city itself, and the three that do not name Richmond or Langley on their own sites. A studio visit before you commit to a season is realistic here, so take one.
Five published rates buy five different products. An hourly three-camera room, a variable hourly setup, a studio rental, a full production hour and a membership plus booking fee are not competing quotes. Brief every shortlisted firm on the same episode count, edit standard, camera setup and clip package before you compare a single number.
Fourteen of the nineteen name no client at all. Owning a show of your own is evidence, but it is not a client credit, and two credits we were given in research could not be found on the firm's own site. Ask for a reference show you can listen to, and get feed, artwork and raw-file ownership in writing.
