How we vet every listicle
Every agency featured on Web Tonic passes our 84-point editorial review before a single listicle goes live. This is how we vet each pick:
Verified client outcomes: We require real case studies with measurable KPIs — revenue, ROAS, CPA, retention — tied to the exact category being ranked. No cherry-picked wins, no unverifiable numbers.
Independent reputation: We cross-check Clutch, Google, G2, and Trustpilot ratings, and screen for review-bombing or suspicious patterns. Only operators with a consistent, verifiable track record make the cut.
Beyond that, every listing goes through a quarterly re-audit. We check 84 criteria across 6 pillars to make sure it still holds up — here are some of the checks we run:
A graphic design agency owns the visual system a business trades on: logo and identity, the typography and colour rules holding it together, packaging and label artwork, brochures and sell sheets, signage and environmental graphics, and the artwork feeding advertising and social channels. Dubai adds two demands most markets do not: bilingual Arabic and English typesetting, and launch material for property and hospitality projects that must look finished before the building is.

We reviewed 19 external agencies alongside Web Tonic on evidenced design work, publicly named clients, published pricing and a verified address. Seventeen name a client outright, none publish a rate, and eighteen give a Dubai address.
Who works with Dubai's developers and hotels?
The property and hospitality specialists here name their clients openly. Fifth Estate names Omniyat and Dorchester Collection, Joie Brands names Rove Hotels and Dubai Opera, and Mareda Studio names Meraas and Dubai Holding Real Estate.
1. Web Tonic
About: Web Tonic starts a Dubai design brief with the commercial job the artwork has to do rather than the moodboard. Frequently Asked Questions
What does a brand identity cost in Dubai?
No agency on this page publishes a rate, so use the market benchmarks that are published. A UAE agency guide puts a full brand identity system from a Dubai design agency at 25,000 to 60,000 dirhams a project, while a freelance branding package covering a logo and core collateral runs 5,000 to 15,000 dirhams. On hourly work, UAE freelancers are quoted at 75 to 250 dirhams and agencies at 250 to 700 dirhams an hour.
Which Dubai agencies name their clients?
Seventeen of the nineteen external agencies here do, which makes Dubai one of the more checkable markets we have reviewed. The named rosters span property and hospitality at Fifth Estate, Joie Brands and Mareda Studio, spirits and FMCG at Creative Sauce with Pernod Ricard Gulf and The Macallan, regional food and retail at Skyne with Bateel and Masafi, and international accounts at so_now with BMW and Porsche. Two studios anonymise everything and should be asked for references.
Should you hire an agency that handles Arabic typesetting in-house?
If any of your artwork ships in Arabic, yes. Bilingual lockups are not a translation task, because Arabic script sets right to left, has different vertical proportions and rarely survives a Latin type system unchanged. Ask to see a released bilingual identity, not a mockup, and ask who set the Arabic. A studio that outsources it will usually say so, and that answer tells you where revision time and cost will land.
Are these agencies actually based in Dubai?
Eighteen of the nineteen publish a Dubai address or a plainly stated Dubai head office, from Business Bay and Meydan to Dubai Investments Park and Al Garhoud. Skyne describes Dubai as a regional office within a wider international structure, which we state on its entry rather than presenting it as a Dubai native studio. Free zone registration is normal here, so ask which entity signs the contract and where the working team physically sits.
What should be in the contract before you pay a deposit?
A deliverable list naming every file and format, a capped number of concept routes and revision rounds, a schedule with named checkpoints, and an explicit statement of what transfers to you on final payment. Typeface licensing matters more here than most places, because a bilingual identity may need both a Latin and an Arabic licence. In a market where nobody posts a price, that written scope is what turns a verbal estimate into a real number.
Choosing a Graphic Design Agency in Dubai
Start from the sector, because Dubai's studios specialise hard. Property launch material, hospitality identity, FMCG packaging and corporate systems are four distinct practices here, and the seventeen agencies naming clients make that specialism easy to read before you brief.
Settle the Arabic question on the first call. Ask to see a released bilingual identity and ask who set the Arabic script, because outsourced typesetting is where schedules and revision budgets quietly go.
Check which entity you are contracting. Eighteen agencies here publish a Dubai address and one runs Dubai as a regional office, which we state on its entry, so confirm where the working team sits before signing.
Fix the money and the files before the deposit clears. With no published rate anywhere on this page, a written deliverable list, a revision cap and clarity on artwork ownership and typeface licensing are your only real protection. If you would rather have identity design, campaign creative and web build handled by one team, read our latest analysis or book a call.
